Impossible to read the control settings

Bought the Studio gas range as well as the matching Studio microwave 3 years ago. This was one of the WORST purchases I ever made. While they were displayed in various dealer showrooms they were never plugged in. Much to our surprise there is no backlighting on any of settings making them impossible to read unless you bend down to the to see the microwave functions. STAY AWAY FROM THESE ATTRACTIVE BUT IMPRACTICAL APPLIANCES

I am in an old house. There is a problem that I cant get the gas hooked up. So I researched and read Gas cook top AND ELECTRIC OVEN
What do you think? I assumed it was just that. An electric oven :0 No. its a Gas oven. Cant cook withOut gas. Its not electric. I searched and read all through websites and all. The only way I found out was to go on the LG website and scroll ALL the way to the end and see that iit is a Gas everything. Stop advertising it as both. Now Im here unable to cook at all with my littles kids and my money spent. We use cast iron so glass tops are out. Thanks for nothing.
Reword it maybe electric ignition for oven not
That we get the convenience if an electric oven. Cause that would mean I dont need gas.
Super angry and still have no way to cook. Big expensive circle.

Good design has the features we wanted. It took four 4 deliveries to get a range that wasnt damaged. Even so the oven knob is scratched. Now two weeks out of warranty the oven door glass is cracked how on earth?? and they refuse to make it right. The warranty begins day of purchase - not day of delivery So even though it took a month to get our stove that doesnt count. Not even sure where to buy the glass but I can assure you I wont give this company any money to replace it - DIY for me. Never ever ever buy another LG appliance. What a horrible experience. Local company wont sell their products because they are too difficult to work with. Hours on the phone and an absolute waste of time.

So I bought this because of the capability of remote interfacing with my phone. I had to change all nozzles because I use propane it was well explained and took a leisurely hour to install all propane updates and was well explained in the instruction manual on how to.
All burner surfaces and grill have exceptional flame and heat.

Ive had the range about 3 weeks now and Im very impressed Operation is very intuitive. WiFi and app setup went smooth. The app is a nice feature itll notify you when preheat is complete it when the cook timer expires. You can also check time remaining and other functions. No need to babysit the range. The connection bake results are perfect. The warning drawer works very well whether warming plates keeping food warm or both. The high output burner is awesome I used it for canning a large batch of salsa and it got the water boiling quickly and maintained the boil after 8 quart size jars were submerged. Ive used the range top griddle twice. It has a tendency to run hotter in the center so you do need to pay attention when making pancakes grilled cheese etc. The range surfaces clean up fairly easy. So far zero issues.

the toll out oven trays on rollers are great. We love the warmer tray and use it often to keep things warm from stores for later consumption.

I would have preferred the Signature range but it only came in a double oven and I was not crawling on the floor to use the bottom oven. I settled for the Studio series and it is a great little range. Looks great but scratches easily. Front panel should light up so you can see the display but overall it does a great job. Oven heats up quickly and burners are nice. Stove top is easy to clean.
